In the Investigators Room, children are supported as they take greater initiative in their learning and expand their understanding of the world. This age is filled with curiosity, questions, and the desire to connect and our program is designed to guide and nurture those qualities.
Our play-based curriculum introduces early literacy and numeracy through engaging activities like storytelling, pattern games, puzzles, and creative arts. Basic concepts such as numbers, shapes, and colours are explored in ways that make learning meaningful and fun.
Educators design experiences that encourage critical thinking, imaginative play, and cooperation. Children are supported in learning to work with others, resolve conflicts, and express empathy building strong social and emotional skills that form the foundation for future success.
Gross motor development is enhanced through active play both indoors and outdoors, including obstacle courses, nature walks, and movement-based incursions. Through these activities, children develop coordination, balance, and confidence in their growing physical abilities.
